Who is responsible

What we hold

• Your account. Email address, and a display name and phone number if you give them. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and we never see it.
• Your vehicles. Everything you enter: make, model, year, colour, nickname, mileage, plate details and chassis number if you add them, photographs, and the dates you record.
• Your documents. Registration papers, insurance, invoices and anything else you upload.
• Your records. Service history, odometer readings, provenance entries, calendar items, and anything you log.
• Your subscription. Its status, dates, and the identifiers Stripe uses for you. We never see or store your card details — they are entered on Stripe’s own pages and stay with Stripe.
• Location, only while you are using a feature that needs it — finding a road or the nearest workshop. It is not tracked in the background and it is not stored against your account.

Why we hold it

To provide the service you have asked for: to show you your vehicles, value them, remind you what they need, and keep the history you have recorded. To take payment for a subscription. To answer you when you contact us. To keep records we are required by UAE law to keep.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your vehicle records to build a profile of you for any purpose other than running the service.

Who processes it for us

• Supabase hosts the database, the authentication and the file storage. Our database is in the Mumbai region, which is the closest one to the UAE that our provider offers.
• Stripe processes payments and holds your card details. Stripe is a payment processor in its own right and has its own privacy policy.
• Vercel serves this website.

Each of them acts on our instructions for the purposes above. Where information is processed outside the UAE, it is because these providers operate internationally, and we choose regions and settings to keep it as close to you as the service allows.

How your documents are protected

Photographs of your vehicles are stored in a way that lets the app show them quickly. Documents are not. Registration papers, insurance certificates and invoices live in a private store that has no public address at all: each one is reached through a short-lived signed link generated only for you, only when you ask to see it. Nobody can guess a URL and read your paperwork.

At the database level, every record is filtered by the account it belongs to, in the database itself rather than in the application. A request for another person’s vehicle returns nothing, not because the app declines to ask but because the database declines to answer.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. If your subscription lapses we keep everything and you keep reading and exporting it — nothing is deleted for non-payment. When you delete your account, your records, photographs and documents are deleted with it. Records of a commercial dealing with us, such as a booking we carried out or an invoice we issued, are kept in an anonymised form because we are required to keep them; they no longer identify you.

Your choices

You can see everything we hold, because it is the app. You can correct any of it, because you entered it. You can export it. You can delete your account and everything in it from within the app, in two taps, without emailing anybody and without waiting for us to act on it. Children

The service is not for people under eighteen and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
